BFH is Awarded The Millennium Circle Fund from The Luzerne Foundation

Brandon's Forever Home has been named the 2017 recipient of The Millennium Circle Fund from The Luzerne Foundation. The extremely generous $25,000.00 Grant will be used to fund a new After School Tutoring and Family Meal Program which hopes to expand to sister sites through out Luzerne County.
CALO Seeks White Haven for New Facility

MFHS Selects Lorine Ogurkis, Esquire as Rose Allen Tucker Award Recipient

At this year’s Annual Meeting of the Board of Directors & Community Luncheon, MFHS will be presenting the Rose Allan Tucker Award to Lorine Angelo Ogurkis, Esquire. Ogurkis, a native of Hazleton, has dedicated herself to giving back to her community through her tremendous work at Brandon’s Forever Home. As a founding member and President of this Hazleton-based charitable organization, Ogurkis has significantly improved the quality of life for countless children in the foster care system. She provides counseling and resources for mothers and prospective mothers within the area, and she works passionately as an advocate and educator for the foster care system in order to help children and unite families.

BFH Hosts Love My Selfie 2017

Brandon's Forever Home welcomed our teen girls for a day of yoga, nutrition, and self love for Love My Selfie 2017! The day ended with dinner, make overs and a photo shoot.
Barletta Presents Angels in Adoption Award to Brandon’s Forever Home

HAZLETON – Congressman Lou Barletta (PA-11) today presented an Angels in Adoption award to Brandon’s Forever Home, the non-profit organization focused on raising awareness of adoption and foster care and placing children with loving, permanent families. Brandon’s Forever Home was founded in 2014 by state Rep. Tarah Toohil (116th District) and local attorney Lorine Ogurkis, who each have their own personal experiences with adoption and foster children. Barletta had nominated the group for the honor awarded each year by the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute.
